Hobbit House: A Low Impact Wooden Home

Have you seen the lovely low impact wooden home that a Wale's man built for his family? This home was built so that they would be able to live close to and in harmony with the environment. Some features of the home include; straw bale insulation, solar panels, a rooftop water collection system and a compost toilet. Fantastic! I really love this home and think the mister will flip for it! I can just see us snuggled up in front of the wood burning fireplace reading, can't you?

It's an awesome looking house and definitely has a hobbit feel to it. I'm not sure I could live like that at this point in my life but somewhere down the road, it has definite appeal.

How gorgeous is that house?! I would honestly love that house over any other house because of the fact that I would like to be essentially that close to Our Mother :)
My house would definitely be in the rolling hills of Ireland right by the coast!
