How was your week? I spent the week packing, cleaning my home for the last time, eating at my favorite Fort Collins restaurants and saying goodbye to good friends and neighbors. Moving can be so bittersweet! And today is the day, we close on the sale of our home and hit the road for Florida at 10 a.m. By this time next week, I will be soaking up a good book on the beach, blogging poolside and enjoying my last couple weeks of summer vacation with Eben. Can you believe how quickly this summer is flying by? I really, really, really want to hit 'pause'.
On our way to Florida, we plan on spending an afternoon in New Orleans, checking out Bourbon Street and eating yummy food. Even though this is a huge ordeal to move everything that we own across the country, we thought we should take our time and really enjoy it. A road trip - of sorts. Eben is super excited to get to Florida and I am starting to feel exciting too. A great adventures awaits for us there.
